Journey Around the Churchyard
Starting on Wednesday 17th Febaruary is a period in the church called Lent. This lasts until Easter and it is a time when we think about the part of Jesus' life that led to his death and resurrection. To help us with this, and to help everyone think about how precious life is, we are creating some meditative spaces in our churchyard.
Each week a new reflective 'station' will be installed around a tree. These will form a journey around the churchyard and offer a place to pause in your day to reflect and offer your thoughts and cares to God. Come and pause in our beautiful churchyard on your daily walk. Please keep social distancing, thank you :)
17th February - 24 March 2021
Lent Prayer & Study Groups
Our Lent Prayer and Study Groups offer the opportunity to think more about the hope we have because of Jesus' life, death and resurrection. Our groups meet by Zoom weekly throughout Lent - one group on a Tuesday evening and the other on a Wednesday evening - you are very welcome to join either group. Don't worry if you've missed the start or can only make the odd sssion - you can join at any time, for one session or as many as you like.
To join a group, please contact Barbara (see below) with your name, contact details and your choice of evening. The group host will then send you the Zoom link and passcode.
