GOOD FRIDAY  For those of you with internet access, we hope to have a link to a Good Friday devotion from a member of our staff team on our parish website.

10.00am   Sing Resurrection

Stand at your front door or in your garden and join with other Christians across the country (and, hopefully, across the world) in singing together ‘Jesus Christ is risen today’ and then ‘Thine be the glory’.  Premier Christian Radio will be playing them at the same time so you can have music to accompany you.

Although we cannot sing these great Easter hymns together in our church, we can still celebrate the resurrection in this way.

We also commend to you the video message from The Bishop of Southwell & Nottingham and his wife Sarah who are uploading a short video message “Start the Day with Bishop Paul and Sarah” each day until Easter Day at 9.30am on to the diocesan YouTube channel ( Each message includes a Psalm, short thought, and prayer.  Last week’s videos are still available.  They are also available on the diocesan Facebook ( and Twitter pages.  This will have in mind especially those who are less connected through their local church, or living and praying alone.

Also consider using the Church of England and Churches Together in England digital content:

    * #LiveLent daily reflections
    * Prayer for the day audio and text
    * AAlexa and Google Home smart speaker apps

Do revisit this page or follow St Mary's Attenborough on Facebook or Twitter to find more about how we are supporting the community and in prayer in the coming days.

Church is changing

The Church continues to be alive and active, our worship of God and our care for each other continue as we develop new ways of meeting and supporting each other.
 “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength . . . Love your neighbour as yourself. There is no commandment greater than these.”
