Welcoming All in the Love of God
St Mary’s Attenborough is a friendly, inclusive church. We welcome people of all ages for worship, personal prayer, social events, and friendship in this ancient, holy building (read more about its history here). Across our range of midweek and Sunday services, we offer traditional and more contemporary worship. We seek to grow in faith, learn and live according to Gospel values, and to care for people within the church and in the wider community.
We believe that God loves us all. Everything we do is founded on this belief. We believe that authentic Christianity can make a real difference to our lives and to the lives of those around us. Why not come and see for yourself?
We come from a wide range of backgrounds and aim to be real, generous, and welcoming, just as Jesus was: he loved and welcomed all who came to him and we aim to do the same.
We treasure the Bible which inspires us in our belief and practice. We long to see people’s lives transformed through a relationship with Jesus in whose life, death and resurrection we find hope for our lives now and in eternity.
Why not pause a moment in your day to reflect, refresh and pray as you listen to the soothing sounds of the Nature Reserve on the video.
We love to welcome visitors from all over the world and hope they feel blessed and connected to God in our beautiful churchyard and ancient building.
The memorials and the ancient trees remind us of our connection to the church in the past and to God's faithfulness from generation to generation.
A recent visitor took this lovely video to put on his Youtube channel and shared it with us. We hope you enjoy it as much as we did.
